oluşturan metan ve hidrojen buldular. Bu projenin önemine gelirsek; Bu bölgede yaşamın nasıl olduğu anlaşılırsa, hiç yaşam olmadığı düşünülen ve Güneş'i görmeyen veya limitli Güneş enerjisine sahip gezegenlerde bile yaşam bulunabilir.
Bu çalışma ABD'den Dr****h Orcutt ve İsviçre'den Gretchen Früh-Green’in liderliğinde toplam 31 kişiyle beraber 47 gün sürmüştür. Araştırmalar halen devam etmektedir.
